Spend two days in the shop learning to forge and finish your own integral knife. The pictures show an example of the starting stock to the finished knife. Materials may vary depending on availability, but you'll have a great selection of handle materials to customize your knife.

In this hands-on two-day class, we'll forge a piece of 1080 carbon steel into an integral knife, covering the heat treatment and finishing processes. The goal is for you to leave with a finished knife to take home. Once purchased, we'll schedule a time that works for everyone, typically on a Saturday and Sunday. Please wear long pants and leather shoes, as we'll be forging and grinding hot steel.
