This will be a small class size of three to four people. We will go from start to finish through my process of making Damascus Steel. Including my “dry” welding or no Flux process. I will work a demo billet and each student will have their own that I will assist with as needed. It will be an eight plus hour class depending on how long it takes us to finish. Students will have to provide their PPE , gloves, long pants and sturdy leather footwear. We will be cutting, welding, grinding and forging. We will go through setting up the initial billet prep and stack to re stacking and drawing out stock. Each student will have their billet to take with them. If they do not have the ability to anneal it I will anneal it and ship it to them. Some basic skills with power tools and shop safety is preferred. We will be using a metal saw, welder, grinders, forge, and forging press ect.

This is a hands on class.

Please bring snacks and lunch.

I will provide water.

You will take home you billet forged to stock size of you preference.
